Bio & Contact

I am currently an assistant principal at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, NJ.

My previous experience in public education includes time as a K-12 instructional supervisor, a school psychologist, and a high school English teacher.  I have also held part-time positions teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at Delaware Valley University, as a professional development consultant for the NJEA, and as an item writer for the Test of English for International Communication and School Superintendent Assessment at ETS.

I have long sought to infuse technology into my professional practice to provide students with authentic learning experiences.  My interest in educational technology has taken me from experimentation in my own classroom to blogging about my experiences and facilitating presentations and workshops at local, regional, state, and national levels.

Outside work, I enjoy travel, fitness, and seeing live music.  I am also a voracious reader and usually have at least one or two books “in process” at any given time.  I have been a musician since childhood, and I always enjoy discovering new (and new-to-me) artists.  I support Newcastle United and Philadelphia sports teams, but most of all, I am a fan of my wife and our children.
